Cannes students discover France during the Royal Regattas

On the occasion of the Régates Royales de Cannes 2025 , AFCA-1966 had the pleasure of welcoming 18 students (3 groups of 6) from schools in the city of Cannes aboard France .
These young people were able to discover up close the history of this legendary sailboat, the first French 12m JI entered in the America's Cup, and understand what it still represents today: a symbol of living maritime heritage, carried by the passion of its crews and its supporters.
During the visit, the students explored the world of traditional navigation, learned about the major stages of France 's career and shared a unique moment on the deck of a legendary sailing ship.
